mirrors!! please help, cant understand the equations!!!

What type of mirror is it?

   Given
    p = 10 cm
    m = 1.0
------------------------------------------
 
  Here the mirror is PLANE MIRROR.
 
   Magnification is
 
            | M| = q / p
              1.0 = q /p
 
               p = q
 
                 q = 10cm.
    we know that the lens formula is given by
 
                1/f =1/p + 1/q
 
                   f  = p/2
 
                      = 5 cm .

just use the equation: f = p/2 with p = 10cm

f = 10/2 = 5 cm
