Response:

   we are given with
   R = 40.0 Ω
   C = 65.0 μF
       = 65.0 x 10-6 F
   L = 185 mH
       = 185 x 10-3 H
   f = 70.0 Hz
   Vmax = 150 V
(a)
   the capacitive reactance will be
   XC = (1 / 2 π f C)
         = ....... Ω
   the inductive reactance will be
   XL = 2 π f L
         = ....... Ω
   impedence between a d will be
   Zad = √(R2 + (XL - XC)2
       = ......... Ω
   Irms = Vrms / Zad
          = ......... A
(a)
   the rms voltage will be
   Zab = R
         = ....... Ω
   Vrms,ab = Irms Zab
          = ......... V
(b)
   the rms voltage will be
   Zbc = XL
         = ....... Ω
   Vrms,bc = Irms Zbc
          = ......... V
(c)
   the rms voltage will be
   Zcd = XC
         = ....... Ω
   Vrms,cd = Irms Zcd
          = ......... V
(d)
   Zbd = |XL - XC|
          = ......... Ω
   Vrms,bd = Irms Zbd
          = ......... V
