Question Details:
   connect a pair of lamps in series adn  you draw current from the connected battery.  connect the same lamps in parallel and you draw the same current.

since when the lamps are connected in series the effective resistance = 2*(resistance of the lamp)
but,,,when connected in parallel = resistance of the lamp/2..so in this cas thet draw more current...
