Question Details:
A model of a helicopter rotor has four blades, each 3.00 {\rm m} in length from the central shaft to the tip of the blade. The model is rotated in a wind tunnel at 600 {\rm rev}/{\rm min}.
Part A: What is the linear speed, of the blade tip?

Part B: What is the radial acceleration of the blade tip, expressed as a multiple of the acceleration g due to gravity?

I am stuck on both parts??

ω = 600 rev/min = 600*2π rad/60 s = 62.8 rad/s
r = 3.00 m
a) v = ωr = 188 m/s
b) a = ω2r = 1.18*104 m/s2 = 1208 g
