Question Details:
 

a.      Use induction to show that n straight lines in the plane divide the plane into (n2 + n + 2/2) regions. Assume that no 2 lines are parallel and that no 3 lines have a common point.

b.      Show that these regions can be colored red and green so that no 2 regions that share an edge are the same color
