rotating reference frame (please help )

Course Textbook Chapter Problem
N/A N/A N/A N/A
Question Details:

Pin P (at r = 7”) is attached to the wheel (r = 10”) shown and slides in a slot cut in a bar BD. The wheel rolls to the right without slipping with a constant angular velocity of 20 rad/s. Knowing that x = 24” when θ = 0°, determine the angular velocity of the bar and the relative velocity pin P with respect to the rod when θ = 0°, and when  θ = 90°. A is on the same horizontal level as B. You must figure out with the rotating reference frame should be located (i.e. What will the unit vector i be attached to?) Answer: 326.4 in/s, 3.81 rad/s, 200 in/s, 3.0 rad/s

For the previous problem, find the angular acceleration of the bar and the relative acceleration of the pin P with respect to the bar for both θ = 0°, and when θ = 90°. Answer: 8.03 rad/s2, 421.1 in/s2, 25.7 rad/s2, 2380 in/s2
