Course Textbook Chapter Problem
Classical Mechanics Vector Mechanics for Engineers: Statics (8th) by Johnston, Eisenberg, Beer 3 89P
Question Details:
3.89 

A trapezoidal plate is acted upon by the force P and the couple shown. Determine (a) the point of application on the plate of the smallest force F that is equivalent to the given system, (b) the magnitude and direction of F.
