Question Details:
In a photoelectric tachometer, 24 equally spaced reflectors have been placed on a disk. Calculate the rpm of the disk if 600 cycles per second are detected.

Please show all work, will rate lifesaver! thanks

in the tachometer 1revolution of disc gives 24 pulses cycles
 
so 600 cycles/sec --------------->  600/24 = 25 revolutions/sec
 
             25/60------------------>   0.42  R.P.M

I think that you have to multiply 25 by 60 to get the answer since that would give you RPM.
