Design of 2 to 12 Counter
Course Textbook Chapter Problem
Digital Circuits Digital Design (3rd) by Mano N/A N/A
Question Details:
The problem is to design a counter which runs from 2 to 12 using D-flip-flop. My doubt was whether to consider the unused state as dont care or to link to next state, meaning self correcting. When i make it as self correcting there are too many expressions.Could any one sujjest ways to reduce the expression.

For designing of this counter we have to also consider the unused sates 0000, 0001, 1101, 1110 and 1111.

I hope this helps you......................
