Question Details:
Below the two chair conformations of 1,2,4-trimethylcyclohexane.  Calculate the amount of 1,3-diaxial strain in each conformer, and predict which conformer is most stable.  H-CH strain = 3.8 KJ/mol 
                        CH3                              CH3
                      CH3                                              CH3
  
                A                                                           B


On A, the 3rd bond is H3C... and on B it's CH3
