Heat flows into or out of the system. What two terms describe the direction of heat flow and what are the definitions of each term?

Response:
There are two types of process classified on the heat flow
                       !) exothermic process
                       2) endothermic process
if heat flows into the system it is called endothermic process
if heat flows out of the system it is called exothermic process
 
In endothermic process the change in heat energy i.e ΔH is -ve
In exothermic process the change in heat energy i.e ΔH is +ve  (where ΔH = Hp - Hr)
                              Hp is the heat content of products and Hr is the  heat content of reactants
