Given    we have (using the Product Rule)...
 
 
Setting the derivative equal to zero and solving for  gives....
 
 
So we see the derivative is equal to zero if ...
 
  and if 
 
Taking the first one we see that   for all  with    a positive or negative odd integer.
 
Taking the second we see that   or   which is true for all values of
such that   with   = 1, 5, 17, 21, 33, 37, .........
