What is the difference in the graphs of x = t , y = 2t + 1 , and x = et , y = 2et + 1? Show your work.

Response:
The graph of the first function will be L={(x,y): y=2x+1 and xεR} i.e. the complete straight line.
but the second function has,
             L={(x,y): y=2x+1 and xεR+}  since x=et is never negative for any tεR.
          i.e.   only half of the first graph.
