we pick our occupations based on what we are good at and what we like to do for examplpe say that we like to make money we may do something in business etc

The relationshiop between what we are defined by our personality and attitude, and what we do is by our behavior and action which means 2 whole new complete different meaning. !

an individaul (personality) is product of heredity(genes) and environment.
these two factors decides and moulds our behavior in any situation.
the psychological factors like perception, attitude, intelligence ,skills etc 
 directs what we do in  response external stimulus.

There is a lot of coordination between what we are and what we do... Even if we try to hide our real character it will be definitely revealed some day...
Similarly if we have some talents and we are interested in that then it will b revealed one day or the other...these are called as hidden talents which proves  that there is a lot of coordination between what we are and what we do....
