Social psychology is the scientific study of individual behavior in a social and cultural setting. Its concern is the effect of the society on the personality, motivation and attitudes of the individual.Social psychologist seek to answer questions like, How are children affected when both parents work ?What is the impact of the assembly line on the mental and emotional make up of industrial workers ?what effects do mass media have on political and social attitude  

 Clinical psychology includes the scientific study and apart of psychology for the purpose of understanding, preventing and relieving psychological based distress and to promote subjective well being and personal development .Central to its practice are psychological assessment and psychotherapy.

 Sociology is the scientific or systematic study of the society, including patterns of social relations, social stratification, social interactions and culture. .Areas studied in sociology range from the analyses of brief contacts between an anonymous individual to the study of global social interactions. it concentrates why people are organized in the society , either as an individual or a member s of associating groups and institution .

 General psychology  is the study of human behavior and mental processes. Psychology is sharply divided into applied and experimental areas. Many fields are represented in both research and applied psychology. It studies memory forgetting , intelligence ,motivation, attitudes etc.
