Response Details:
A = x + 36 = x(x+10)                        simplify

A = x + 36 = x2 + 10x                 ignore the A for now

x + 36 = x2 + 10x                         minus x and 36 to both side

x2 + 9x - 36 = 0                           factor

(x + 12)(x - 3) = 0                        find x

x = -12, 3                                  the length should be positive

x = 3                                      plug into the oringal equation

A = 3 + 36 = 39                                    then divide by 3

3 x 13 = dimensions

All you have to do is solve for X and then plug it back into your equation...

Just do a little rearranging..

Just complete the square or do reverse FOIL or whatever you wanna call it...

That solve your problem?
