Response Details:
Since P is on x axis then the y coordinate is 0 (Obvious right)

So we can say that coordinates of P is ( x , 0)

Now since the distance of P from the point ( -3 , 5  ) is 13 , ew can use the distance formula here,

Here d = 13 Given
         (x1, y1) = (-3 , 5) given
         (x2, y2) = ( x , 0)

now apply these values

Squaring both sides

Taking square root on both sides u get,

 ±12  = x +3

either x = 12 -3                   or    x =  -12 -3
         x = 9                                 x = -15

therefore two possible coordinates of P are (9,0) and (-15,0) ANSWER

Hope it helps
