Question Details:
A package is pushed across a floor a distance of 50 feet by exerting a force of 15 pounds downward at an angle of 25 degrees with the horizontal. How much work is done?

Response:
Work = Force*distance*cosθ

The force is given to us as 15 pounds

The distance given to us is 50 feet

and we have an angle of 25 degrees so we know everything that we need to plug in to the formula:

W = 15*50*cos*25

W = 680 ft*lb
